And Remember!

I never weigh however I do measure. So if you have a hard time with hopping on a scale do what I do. Besides scales to me are misleading. It's how my clothes fit and can I breath when I'm tying my shoes that count. Right!

YEA! I'm doing it! And I'm already seeing changes.

I finished the cougar workout this week so I decided to finish out my week with Joyces DVD: The complete weight training series workout- I did upper body, back, arms, thighs, hips and butt.  Tomorrow will be mainly thighs and butt.  I'm also excited about her 21 day weight loss plan diet which I will try after I make my grocery list and head to the store.
I bought two of her books the one mentioned above and her Eat to Trim e-book.  It's always good to keep options open.
I am not hurting, even after almost 2 weeks of working out with her.  What I feel is,stronger and tighter muscles.
I have already lost an inch in my thigh area from 26" to 25"'s.  So I know I'm on the right track.
One point I'd like to make with this particular workout style. Muscle weighs more than fat so if you are joining in or trying to decide whether this is for you or not remember that as you build muscle you may not go down in weight as quickly as you think you should but if you try on clothes you'll notice that they fit better.  It's because your building muscle while losing fat.  If your wanting the Ralph Lauren Waif look then stop and just starve yourself...LOL!  This style of workout will transform you into a mini-weight trainer.  And no I didn't mean Weight Lifter!  You won't bulk up but you will loose the fat and develop the muscles you have to become slender and very in shape.
Ok well this is all for today.  I will write more tomorrow and let everyone know how its going and how I'm feeling physically and mentally on this journey.  See Ya'll

Workout my 2nd day with the cougar workout!

I feel great today.  I just completed the cougar workout today working my back and lower body.
I had the option of doing my lower body (butt/thighs) tomorrow but felt I could make it through.  I did the first set then rested the second and finished the third set.
I can feel it in my lower abdominal which is exactly what I'm looking for.  I know by being able to feel it afterwards I'm doing something right.  Tomorrow I will do the upper body again. Until then..see ya!

I am feeling great and its only my 5th workout!

OK...here is a TMI moment!  I never wear my old clothes ..duh..because I can't get into them, but I have refused to get new clothes to force myself to workout and change my life.  Ok, I'm getting to the point...lol!
Yesterday I found myself in a situation where I had to throw on some bluejeans and rescue our patio table from the horse!  I ran to my bedroom and throw on my size 14 501's (MY FAT JEANS by the way!) and started down the stairs...all of a sudden I stopped and realized they were not as tight and I wasn't the TIN MAN in them! WOO HOO...after only 5 workouts my body is starting to change...Thank you Joyce...is all I can say.

I did my upper body workout today and because I am already feel stronger I decided to change to the Cougar workout.  IT WAS GREAT!  And I felt like I actually had energy.  Even though Joyce says work different body parts every other day I am contemplating working my lower body this evening...not sure yet...I'm a doll designer and I'm having to weave hair in a troll doll for a challenge I have right now...but I'm strongly considering it.
Talk soon everyone! Hugs!

Been fighting a cold but determined.

I don't feel well but I am not going to let that stop me.  Today is day 1 workout again and to be frank I'm looking forward to it even though I'm all stuffed up.  I'll see ya'll after I'm finished. Have a great day!
