This is my journey with Joyce Vedral and her weight lifting workouts. I will be sharing my experience for 1 year. In one year I feel like I will be a new person. At least I think that's what Joyce would say.
And Remember!
I never weigh however I do measure. So if you have a hard time with hopping on a scale do what I do. Besides scales to me are misleading. It's how my clothes fit and can I breath when I'm tying my shoes that count. Right!

Day 1! I did it!
It was great! I watched the video and went through the motions without weights for the last few days and today I started my first day of Joyce Vedral's workout - Day 1. I feel a tad bit sore but that's ok because I am feeling like my old self again. And I know tomorrow will be a good workout because of the good feelings and surprising agility I had during the first day of her dvd. I used 2,3, and 5 lb. weights which wasn't difficult at all. I did however feel a burn in the upper body workout in the back of my arms and it made me feel as though I was doing it right. All in all a great start and I look forward to tomorrows 2nd day. One footnote regarding my day 1 workout. By now those of you who have read my profile would know I have a back injury. I left out the scissor floor work and substituted that excercise with the hmm I think its called the butt lift but so tired can't remember. Anyway the point is, when you can't do one exercise Joyce advised me to exchange it for another in the same workout set.
ReplyDeleteI also had my hubby bring down two twin mattresses we have and I did my floor work on them..what a back saver glad I thought of it.
